CRUISING

We have one of the best coastal cruising areas in the nation. Spring, Summer and Fall cruises are planned for NOSPS members, leaving John Wayne Marina in Sequim and Boat Haven in Port Angeles.   We cruise south into Puget Sound and Hood Canal and destinations north  including the San Juan Islands, Gulf Islands, Vancouver Island Coastline, British Columbia's Sunshine Coast and Desolation Sound.  Our beautiful cruising area is more often referred to as the "Salish Sea".

Typically, cruises are planned for one to two weeks depending on distance necessary to travel which include visits to various marina’s and anchorages.  Where possible, we try to vary docking and anchoring out.  Our members share their local knowledge of the best places to anchor and their favorite marinas.
